As for the packaging, formulation and longevity I absolutely cannot complain! Not only does it feature a beautiful pink and purple petal design on the lid as well as being encased in a gold trim, it also has possibly the largest mirror that I've ever seen inside a makeup product. Major brownie points earned there. The palette itself contains 12 shades; nine being matte and the remaining three are shimmers and include everything from your everyday nudes and pale pinks to the more bronzey, burgundy tones. I've naturally got pretty oily eyelids so unless I'm wearing a brilliant eye primer or base, no matter what the product is I'm going to see some sort of colour fade and creasing over time. But in saying so these eyeshadows are super buttery and easy to blend which makes application and creating new colour combinations a total dream. I've yet to venture into the world of the "cut crease" trend but hey ho there's no time like the present and that Leader shade is calling my name. I've popped a few swatches of each shade below for you guys to see the colour pay off but I honestly couldn't recommend a product more than this and I wish Tarte was more easily available in Australia so I could get my hands on some of their blushes and foundations.
Shades L-R: Charmer, Jetsetter, Rocker, Smokeshow, Flower Child, Smarty Pants, Firecracker, Activist, Funny Girl, Sweetheart, Rebel and Leader.
