NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Sponge Cake

I can't believe I'm sat here writing a post about a lipgloss that I actually like... I never thought I'd see this day in a million years!! For many years I've always been the anti-lipgloss girl, even some of my dearest friends know that I just cannot stand lipgloss. I'm unsure if that is because I went through my entire pre-teen period sporting sparkly clear gloss on my lips or just the fact I hate that gloopy feeling that many leave after application. But that aside I now introduce to you the lipgloss that changed it all, the NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Sponge Cake - which I actually discovered from my own Mum's beauty bag!

This terracotta-like shimmery pink looks beautiful on the lips and is the perfect shade that goes with about 98% of my wardrobe, plus it's compact size makes it the ultimate handbag necessity for on-the-go touch ups. Once it has dried down, the sheen and glossiness looks incredible leaving your lips with a natural but fuller look. The insane scent also deserves a quick mention *insert heart-eyed emoji* - a fruit salad vibe is certainly coming to a head, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the taste - yep, I licked it!

 Now that I've overcome my phobia of lipglosses I definitely want to get my hands on a few more, and even more so some of the NYX, Sephora and Kat Von D liquid lipsticks, as I reckon they'll be right up my street.
