So whilst I've been a little M.I.A on the blog lately - all will be explained very soon - I have been posting up a storm on social media. I think I'm going to start doing a few more of these Instagram rotations on here in the new year! So for now here's what I've been eating, drinking, wearing and doing lately.
MAGICAL SUNSET
Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me and I managed to snap a shot of this glorious view from my driveway last weekend. I'd never seen a purple and orange hue sunset that looked quite this magical, I mean how beautiful is it?!
FAMILY BIRTHDAYS
Last Thursday my family and I celebrated my Great Nanna Iris' 94th birthday, and although we didn't get down to see her I did share this gorgeous throwback picture to Christmas circa 1999 with a baby Cate, my Nanna and Great Nanna.
70'S DISCO FEVER
I love a night at the casino and getting dressed to the nines. I wore this sparkly number from Valleygirl last weekend which was serving some serious 70's disco fever vibes, and if I'm being completely honest I'm just looking for another excuse to wear it again.
PINK SALT CAFE
I visited this little gem tucked away in Ellenbrook a couple of weeks ago with my Nanna, her niece and her niece's daughter. This is the perfect place to grab a healthy juice or bite to eat as they cater for almost every dietary requirement possible. We enjoyed some delicious salads and breadless turkey burgers.
MY FIRST FACIAL
A few weeks back one of my girlfriends invited me to have a facial as part of her beauty course she does, and it's safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so I've put my name down for the next facial opportunity she has. My skin was left looking refreshed, plump and glowing.
SUMMER DRINKS
I recently found this new range from Smirnoff when food shopping and the combination of flavours is right up my alley! As they come in a pack of four they are perfect for summer BBQ's and Christmas parties. What could be more refreshing than vodka, lime and ginger on a balmy summer evening?
