Lucy Hale Inspired Makeup

If you're anything like me then you just might be a huge fan of the hit television show, Pretty Little Liars. Full of murder mysteries and girly high school gossip, the hair and makeup and wardrobes of Hanna, Aria, Emily, Spencer and Alison are surely ones to kill for. Lucy Hale who plays the ever intriguing Aria Montgomery has recently become one of my favourite new celebrities to keep tabs on, and I bloomin' love her gorgeous choppy locks and signature berry lips. Hale has recently been spotted on numerous occasions sporting sultry smoky eyes and a glossy plum lip, and with a few outings on my books this coming month I thought I'd try recreate this look today.

BASE
I've started off this look with my new favourite step in my makeup routine, primer! The Facefinity All Day Primer from Max Factor gives you a solid base for foundation and makes it last all day. Since Lucy usually has lovely glowing skin I've gone with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel in Vanilla for my foundation today. Afterwards I went in with my trusty Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory to cover up my under-eye bags and a few blemishes. Lastly to add that gorgeous berry glow, I've added a pop of the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve on the apples of my cheeks.

EYES
For the base I've applied Nudie from my favourite Too Faced palette, Natural Eyes, all over my lids and then gone over the top with MAC Satin Taupe, and blended it out for a more purple-ish smokey eye. To add a little sparkle I used the beautifully creamy By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock to my upper and lower lash line, along with a stock standard black kohl pencil from The Body Shop to my upper and lower tight line. For lashes and eyebrows Maybelline is my go-to brand that never fails me, especially with their Lash Sensational mascara which creates the perfect natural curl and the Brow Satin Duo in Dark Blonde to fill my brows in with.

LIPS
To complete this beautiful Lucy Hale inspired makeup look, you'll never a bold berry lip colour. I love lip crayons as they make application super quick and easy and this shade, Plum Russian, from Bourjois is a perfect match to recreate Lucy's glossy berry lips.
